Working Hours: 7am–6pm, with weekend hours paid at overtime

Overview
Corrie Recruitment are looking for an experienced Storeman / Telehandler Operator to join an ongoing civils project in Orkney.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site stores while also operating a Telehandler to assist with the movement and distribution of materials around site.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the site stores
- Receiving, checking and distributing deliveries
- Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring materials are available when required
- Loading and unloading materials using the Telehandler
- Keeping the stores and surrounding areas clean, organised and secure
- Coordinating with site management and the wider site team regarding material requirements
- Carrying out daily plant checks and reporting any defects
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements
- CSCS Certification – essential
- CPCS or NPORS Telehandler certification – essential
- Driving Licence – essential
- Previous experience working as a Storeman within a construction/civils environment
- Previous Telehandler operating experience
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Reliable and professional approach
- SSSTS is not essential
