Overview
Corrie Recruitment are looking for an experienced HGV / Class 2 Driver to join a long-term project in Shetland, starting on 26th October.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting and moving materials between various sites as required.
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified HGV driver looking for ongoing rotational work in Shetland.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving HGV/Class 2 vehicles safely and responsibly
- Transporting and moving materials between project sites
- Loading and unloading materials as required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Following all site and road safety procedures
- Working closely with site teams to ensure materials are delivered where and when required
Requirements
- Full Class 2 / HGV Licence – essential
- Previous HGV/Class 2 driving experience
- Experience transporting materials between construction or civils sites would be advantageous
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good understanding of vehicle and site safety requirements
